Hosted on course at Ellerslie on 5 September 2026 by Andrew Lacy, this competition is designed for keen punters ready to put their skills to the test on a huge day of racing.

It all plays out alongside a blockbuster racing programme featuring the Group 1 Proisir Plate and the Group 3 Sunline vase on Ellerslie’s first raceday of the season.

What can I win?

There is a $7,500 cash prize for the winning team. The winner of the main prize will be the team who has achieved the highest balance after dividends have been paid on the last scheduled race at either Ellerslie.

Also Bonus Cash prizes up for grabs.

Who is eligible to enter?

This is a team event (teams must have a minimum of one team member).

All entrants must have a TAB/Betcha online account to enter the competition.

$500 of betting funds must be loaded into the nominated team leader’s online TAB/Betcha account no later than 30 minutes prior to the first scheduled race at Ellerslie (only one TAB/Betcha account to be used per entry.  You will be asked to verify these funds).

A minimum of $100 must be invested on a minimum of 10 races.

How Do I Enter?

Form your team and nominate a Team Leader.

The Team Leader enters the team by purchasing team members’ hospitality tickets for the event ($55pp) – following purchase, they will have an opportunity to add their team’s name and; agreeing to the Terms and Conditions.
