Pukekohe Park is located in the picturesque surrounds of Pukekohe, 40 minutes south of Auckland City.

Pukekohe Park is one of two racetracks governed by Auckland Thoroughbred Racing.

Pukekohe Park comes alive in November each year for its sell-out Counties Cup Day, featuring the heritage Group 3 Counties Cup along with the Group 2 Auckland Thoroughbred Breeders’ Stakes.

An ideal day out for families, friends or an easy option for corporate hosting, racedays at Pukekohe Park really do offer something for all walks of life. With general admission free oncourse for the entirety of the 2024/25 season, we encourage you to join us and check it out for yourself.

Pukekohe Park is also an industry-leading thoroughbred training centre features a 15 metre-wide all-weather track with a dual lamp lighting system, three grass tracks, a plough, cinders and trotting ring. The stabling area caters for over 200 horses with tie-ups, weighing scales and a sand roll available for use.

    Pukekohe Park is an industry-leading thoroughbred training centre with a modern 15 metre wide all-weather sand training track with a dual lamp lighting system, three grass tracks, a plough track, cinders and a trotting ring. The stabling area caters for over 190 horses with tie-ups, weighing scales and a sand roll available for use. Barrier education is held on the No.2 grass track every Thursday using the Club’s 8 stall overhead Simtrack gates and course proper jump outs are held after most race meetings.
