Coming via private car?
Address: 16 Derby Downs Place
Ellerslie Racecourse has plenty of free carparking available to raceday attendees. You can then use the pedestrian underpass to access the grandstand side of Ellerslie Racecourse.

Note: if you are requiring disabled access, please use 100 Ascot Avenue, Remuera.

If you’re arriving from the north, please use the Tecoma Street motorway off-ramp. If arriving from the south, your best motorway exit is Ellerslie.

ATR member?
Address: 100 Ascot Avenue, Remuera, Auckland.
Auckland Thoroughbred Racing (ATR) members have exclusive & complimentary use of their own carpark on racedays.  A current ATR membership badge must be shown in order to gain entry.

Check the event information for the raceday you are attending for further information including any parking restrictions.

Coming via taxi, Uber, bus or being dropped off?
Address: 100 Ascot Avenue, Remuera, Auckland.

If you are travelling on the motorway, it is best to take the Greenlane exit.

  • Non-racedays
    Vehicle access is through Gate 2 only. Travel down the ‘Avenue of Palms’ to Gate 5.
  • Racedays
    Drop off access is through Gate 2 on all racedays. Travel down the ‘Avenue of Palms’ and disembark in the marked areas.

By helicopter?
Guests wishing to utilise helicopters to get to / from the racecourse must first obtain permission from the Club in advance of the day.

If you are coming by train, alight at Greenlane Station. When you exit the station turn right and follow the path and signage.

Pukekohe Park

Address: 222/250 Manukau Road, Pukekohe, 2120

Pukekohe Park has plenty of FREE car-parking for all raceday attendees. Use Gate 2 or 3 to access the course and follow the signs. Note: should the main carpark be full, staff on-course will direct you to alternative options.

If you’re arriving via taxi, Uber or being dropped off, please use Gate 2 or 3 to access the course and follow security’s instructions.
