We have a general admission area like no other planned for the TAB Karaka Millions and there really is nothing general about it.

Of course as per, you’re very welcome to hang out in the usual GA spots of the Newmarket Room or the outdoor seating of the Ellerslie Stand and there’ll still be plenty of space for your picnic blankets/chairs on the lawns adjacent to the stabling complex.
Remember you can also bring along your own picnic food, unopened non-alcoholic beverages and as always under 15’s are free admission.
Our friends at The Grand Tour have you sorted with The Grand Tour Bar, a 16m semi-trailer that rolls in and rolls out into a huge hospitality space where you can eat, drink and be merry. Along with this we’ll have a couple of food trucks parking up just for you and our tote caravan will be open for business so everything you need will be right at your fingertips.
We have plenty of great photo ops in GA too with the team at The Edge joining us with their 360 degree camera as well as The Grand Tour pony making its first appearance at Ellerslie and bringing with it your chance to win some cold hard cash. More about that here.
Speaking of winning, we have another chance to win big with our ‘Pick the Winner’ competition based in GA. Win this and you and a friend could be jetting off to the sandy beaches of Hawaii for four nights staying at Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort thanks to our friends at Hawaiian Airlines. There’s plenty planned to keep the kids entertained with the return of our ponies to pat, bouncy castle and lawn games (all weather permitting). But if colouring is more your child’s thing then we have our brand new kids packs at the ready. Best of all it’s all FREE!
We’ll have a big screen set up in GA which will not only livestream all the TAB Karaka Millions racing action but this year there’s also going to be a big screen show in and amongst the races lined up for your viewing pleasure which will feature your favourite jockeys, horses, tips and other content relevant to the days racing.
Our GA friends are all invited to join us for our legendary TAB Karaka Millions afterparty. Kicking things off after the last will be our resident Ellerslie band, followed by our headline act, Sweet Mix Kids who’ll be belting out all the bangers into the night. And we may have one more surprise up our sleeves for our afterparty crowd, but you’ll have to be there to find out what it is.
