2nd – Dionysus – Masa Hashizume “Ran super. Got in a nice place from wide barrier. Travelled well but the last 100 metres he was waiting for other horses. Be spot on for Auckland Cup.”

3rd – Good Oil – Sam Spratt “Really tough effort. Travelled into it nicely, thought they were going to go past us but dug deep.”

4th – Khan Hunter – Darren Danis “Another honest run. He gave a good feel and finished well.”

5th – Nom De Plume – Matt Cameron “Super run. A little flat footed on the turn but with a little bit of rain and over further she’ll be right.”

6th – Trust In You – Kozzi Asano “Good run. Settled nicely. Probably prefers more distance.”
