Terms and Conditions for ATR Media/Content Pass Accreditation

Accreditation and Access

  • Passes are issued at the discretion of the event organisers and provide access to designated areas only based on the pass provided.
  • Passes will be approved as a either a Media pass or a Content pass, dependant on information provided in the application.
  • Accredited representatives must wear their passes visibly at all times while on event premises.
  • Passes are issued to the applicant and may not be transferred.

Conduct and Behaviour

  • Representatives are expected to conduct themselves professionally and adhere to event guidelines and protocols as provided by Auckland Thoroughbred Racing.
  • All passes are issued on the basis they are for the purposes of working media / creators and anyone seen in breach of this, without prior permission from Auckland Thoroughbred Racing, may be removed from the premises and / or have rights to future accreditation revoked. This includes consumption of alcohol at the event or utilising their pass as a ticket into the racecourse or any hospitality precinct for any purposes other than to capture the content as specified in any approved application.
  • Any form of disruptive behaviour, including harassment or unauthorised access to restricted areas or beyond approved event times, is strictly prohibited and may result in removal from the premises and / or rights to future accreditation revoked.

Content Usage

  • All content captured (photographs, videos, articles, etc.) must be used solely for the purpose specified in the accreditation form.
  • Event organisers reserve the right to request copies of published content for promotional use where appropriate, with appropriate credit to the media or content outlet.

Privacy and Consent

  • Representatives must respect the privacy and rights of event participants and attendees.
  • Any interviews, recordings, or photographs of individuals require their explicit consent.

Equipment and Liability

  • Representatives are responsible for their own equipment and any associated costs.
  • The event organisers are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury to representatives or their equipment.

Compliance with Laws

  • Representatives must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including copyright and intellectual property laws.
  • Unauthorised use of drones or other aerial devices is strictly prohibited. Permission must be sought in advance of the event.

Revocation of Accreditation

  • The event organisers reserve the right to revoke accreditation at any time for non-compliance with these terms and conditions.

Agreement

  • By accepting the pass, the representative agrees to abide by these terms and conditions.
