This event offers a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for owners, trainers, and racing enthusiasts looking to see their horses in action.

A relaxed day on the GA lawn and Newmarket room or member’s stand to enjoy live racing, a picnic, and plenty of family-friendly fun.

With free parking and excellent public transport connections, May Raceday is the perfect way to celebrate day out in Auckland.

    • On-site parking is free and accessed through Derby Downs Place
    • Auckland Thoroughbred Racing encourages responsible drinking and intoxicated persons will not be granted entry to Ellerslie Racecourse
    • A dress code applies in hospitality areas. Please click here for more information
    • Tickets are non-refundable and prices include GST. A separate booking fee of $2.00 per ticket and a 2% transaction will apply upon purchase
    • Members please contact [email protected] for exclusive discount to be applied for hospitality packages and tickets
    • Promotional photographs, social media content & film footage will be taken at this event. By entering the racecourse, event-goers consent to use of their image by the Club & New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing for promotional purposes
