General Admission

Our general admission areas offer a relaxed, laid-back way to enjoy all the action, with some of the best vantage points oncourse. Whether you choose the covered, outdoor seating in the Ellerslie Stand or the open lawns right alongside the thunder of the home straight, you’ll be close to the racing action all day.

Anyone on course can also access the Newmarket Room – located on the ground floor of the Ellerslie Stand – where you’ll find a range of tasty food and drinks to purchase, some of which will be leaning into the day’s Irish Raceday theme. Even better, it’s where we’re hosting our legendary Irish Raceday party, bringing the music, the energy and the festivities to life. Come for the racing, stay for the craic.

You’re also welcome to bring your own picnic food, unopened non-alcoholic beverages, and chairs or picnic rugs to set yourself up outdoors.

General admission gives you the freedom to wander through the public areas of the stabling complex – a great way to get up close to the horses behind the scenes.

Plus, if the weather plays ball, we’ll have a bouncy castle and outdoor games ready for the young (and young at heart!) to enjoy.

If you’re a TAB account holder, you’ll also have the option to chill out at the newly renovated TAB Winning Post (ground floor, Ascot Stand) just check in with your TAB account details on the day. Please note, if we reach capacity, there may be a wait to enter until space frees up.
