General Admission

Our general admission areas provide a relaxed, laid-back way for eventgoers to enjoy their day and offer excellent viewing opportunities of the racetrack and associated areas.

When it comes time to race, you have the option of either enjoying exceptional views from the covered, outdoor seating in the Ellerslie Stand or get as close as possible to the thunder of the track from the open space of the public lawns which neighbour the home straight.

​The Newmarket Room, located on the ground floor of the Ellerslie Stand, is open to the public and offers a range of tasty food & beverages to purchase.

​You’re welcome to bring along your own picnic food, unopened non-alcoholic beverages, as well as chairs & picnic rugs for use in our outdoor general admission areas.

General admission also provides you with the option of walking around the public pathways within the stabling complex.

Subject to weather conditions, we’ll also have our bouncy castle, swingball sets and a mini golf course set up for the young (or young at heart!) to enjoy on the Newmarket Lawn.
