1st – Bellatrix Star – Warren Kennedy

Really good run. Settled beautifully in the run today, quickened smartly all the way to the line. Good win.

2nd – Move To Strike – Opie Bosson

Had his chance.   The winner was too good for him.

3rd – Velocious – Sam Spratt

Really good run. Just came to the end of it the last bit. She’s had a bit of a break in the paddock since her last run, so that will top her off nicely for the Karaka Millions.

4th – So Naive – Michael McNab

He’ll be a better three-year-old.

5th –Force of Law – Niranjan Palmer

He went a nice race.

6th – Lotus – Craig Grylls

Led up but still green. Once she’s older and stronger she’ll be a nice type but still green.

7th – Skymax – Bailey Rogerson

She travelled well but lacked a turn of foot when they sprinted on the corner. Opposition a little too rich for her.

Last – Montana Bay – Joe Doyle

He’s still pretty green. There’ll be another day for him.
