1st –Waitak – Warren Kennedy

A phenomenal performance. Made up a huge amount of ground and went past them like they weren’t there. Great win.

2nd – Bonny Lass – Craig Grylls

Had a nice run. Got knocked sideways half way down. She’s picked herself up and was brave to run second.

3rd – Mercurial – Sam Spratt

Good run. Thought we were home but decided to duck out half way down the straight. Tough effort.

4th – Dragon Leap – Opie Bosson

He ran well. Just locked up the last 50 metres.

5th –Maven Balle – Matthew Cameron

The track conditions tricked her up a little across the top but she’s battled away.

6th – Marina Farina – Sam Weatherley

Super run. Looking forward to Trentham and she’ll be hard to beat. She’s not the same on these track conditions and right handed.

7th – Babylon Berlin – Jason Collett

Disappointing. Tempo was very strong but I thought there would be more fight than that.

8th – Sacred Satono – Michael McNab
