Visiting us at Ellerslie Racecourse or Pukekohe Park? Learn more about how to get to our racecourses.
We offer free parking on racedays and for events held at Ellerslie Events in one of two carparks at Ellerslie – either our Members’ Carpark (reserved for the exclusive use of Club members; access off Ascot Avenue only) or our Infield Carpark (all other race & eventgoers).
All race and eventgoers with the exception of Auckland Thoroughbred Racing Members:
Please enter via 16 Derby Downs Place, drive through the tunnel and continue on the road until you reach the carpark that is located within the racecourse infield.
Once you have parked your car, head on foot to the pedestrian tunnel (or directly to The Infield entry point if you have tickets for that precinct on 26/12), present your raceday tickets to the staff (if you are attending a ticketed raceday) and then walk through the tunnel to reach the grandstand side of the course – please do not cross the racetrack itself.
If you have raceday tickets to collect, you will need to be dropped off at the Ticket Booth via 100 Ascot Avenue.
Please note that the carpark that once ran adjacent to the Southern Motorway is no longer operational. The driveway that previously ran alongside this carpark is now one-way with entry via Ascot Avenue and exit only via Mitchelson Street.
Learn moreAuckland Thoroughbred Racing (ATR) members have exclusive & complimentary use of their own carpark accessible via 100 Ascot Avenue only.
A current ATR membership badge must be shown in order to gain entry.
