Fashionistas, your very own precinct is returning to Champions Day, complete with the best seats in the house for The Ned Prix de Fashion.

Picture this: nestled within the heart of our fashion lawn gardens, you’ll be welcomed with a crisp glass of The Ned to set the tone.

You’ll also have access to your own cash bar within this precinct, a live DJ spinning tracks, and views of a big screen so you can catch every thrilling on-track moment – all without missing a beat of the day’s fashion competitions. Oh, and of course we’ll also throw in a racebook so you can enjoy a little trackside banter with your pals.

What’s more, you’ll get easy access into The Ned Prix de Fashion marquee with precinct-exclusive seating right for those of you who aren’t game enough to the runway a crack but who are happy to cheer on their favourites from the sidelines.

​When your heels need a breather, we’ll have you covered with plenty of unreserved seating and tables. If you’re feeling peckish, a food truck located just outside the precinct will be at your service for you to purchase from.

Now it’s your turn – gather your crew, plan those outfits and join us for fashion-filled fun on Champions Day!

  • A cash bar located within the precinct featuring a selection of Champagne, still and sparkling wines, local & imported beers, RTDs & non-alcoholic beverages

  • Easy access to purchase food from a food truck (located in the GA area of the fashion lawn) with other options nearby if you’re feeling peckish and are keen to purchase something to eat
  • General admission into the racecourse and entry into The Ned Fashion Garden
  • A racebook
  • As The Ned Fashion Garden is a social precinct, seating is unreserved and available on a first-in, first-served basis. There will also be limited seating stage-side reserved for the exclusive use of ticketholders in this precinct so those not entering the day’s fashion competition’s won’t miss a twirl
  • This precinct is in an outdoor area and will have cover available (umbrellas and entry into the fashion marquee)

 

To note:

  • Please note that this precinct does not offer racecourse views but you are welcome to leave it to go and watch the racing, then return again. There will be a screen showing the day’s racing near the fashion lawn area
  • Guests in this precinct can utilise the toilets in Tote on Ascot (building behind the fashion marquee) or those located with the Newmarket Room (ground floor, Ellerslie Stand)
  • This precinct does not have tote operators so if you wish to place a bet, you can either skip queues elsewhere by downloading the free TAB app or there are self-service TAB terminals located in Tote on Ascot available for the use of precinct ticketholders
  • You do not require a ticket into this precinct in order to enter The Ned Prix de Fashion

    • On-site parking is free and accessed through Derby Downs Place
    • All bars close shortly after the last race with the exception of The Grove (Newmarket Lawn) and the Birdcage Bash afterparty (raceday Birdcage, ground level, Ascot Stand)
    • Entry into The Grove and the Birdcage Bash is free for racegoers after the last race; R18; Dress code applies; Entry subject to space, Intoxicated or disorderly persons not permitted or tolerated. Bar and event close time is at the discretion of management. Drink limits may apply
    • Auckland Thoroughbred Racing encourages responsible drinking and intoxicated persons will not be granted entry to Ellerslie Racecourse

    • Tickets are non-refundable and prices include GST. A separate booking fee of $2.00 per ticket will also apply upon purchase
