Cuvée is the go-to precinct for those after a lively, stylish way to spend Champions Day.

With a gourmet food and beverage package included, it’s a seamless option for entertaining clients, colleagues or friends.

This contemporary space sits right in the heart of the action – opposite the winning post and beside the Birdcage, giving you front-row views as the horses parade, race, and return to scale.

Offering an indoor/(covered) outdoor flow, Cuvée also offers uninterrupted views of the super screen so you won’t miss a moment of the big races or entertainment throughout the day.

  • Two bottles of Moët & Chandon per table, upon arrival
  • Breads and dips delivered to your table 30 minutes after doors open

    • On-site parking is free and accessed through Derby Downs Place
    • All bars close shortly after the last race with the exception of The Grove (Newmarket Lawn) and the Birdcage Bash afterparty (raceday Birdcage, ground level, Ascot Stand) which also blends into Cuvée
    • Entry into The Grove and the Birdcage Bash (incl Cuvée by association) is free for racegoers after the last race; R18; Dress code applies; Entry subject to space, Intoxicated or disorderly persons not permitted or tolerated. Bar and event close time is at the discretion of management. Drink limits may apply
    • Auckland Thoroughbred Racing encourages responsible drinking and intoxicated persons will not be granted entry to Ellerslie Racecourse
