A relaxed day out for the whole family
Spring Raceday at Ellerslie brought together sunshine, smiles, and great racing action – all with free entry for everyone.
A relaxed crowd gathered on the lawns to enjoy a day of live racing, picnics, and plenty of family-friendly fun. From mini golf to bouncy castles and swingball sets, there was no shortage of entertainment to keep the little ones happy between races – and our free colouring packs were a hit too.
Congratulations to all of our race winners, with a special mention to the connections of Tajana, who took out the Gr.3 $150,000 Al Basti Equiworld Dubai Sunline Vase (1400m) in a thrilling two-horse battle with Lollapalooza – the two hottest three-year-old fillies of spring racing going stride-for-stride down the straight.
