Set on the Newmarket Lawn with views of the horses as they power past on their way to the winning post, Trackside Village offers a relaxed and well-catered way to enjoy Melbourne Cup Day.

Each private marquee is set for ten and comes with a flowing drinks package and a series of food drops delivered throughout the afternoon – making it an ideal choice for friends, colleagues or business associates looking to enjoy Melbourne Cup Day with everything taken care of.

Plus, you have the opportunity to mix and mingle with other Trackside Village guests within the precinct.

  • Your own 3x3m marquee with a table and 10 chairs – the perfect base for your day

  • Two bottles of Daniel Le Brun on arrival to get the celebration started

  • Five rounds of food delivered to your marquee, including:

    • Breads & dips

    • Canapés

    • Walk & fork-style main

    • Dessert selection

    • Cheeseboard to finish

  • Beverage package including still and sparkling wines, local and imported beers, RTDs and non-alcoholic drinks

    • Plus the option to purchase Champagne at a discounted rate

  • Racebook and pen (x5 of each per mini marquee)

    • All bars close shortly after the last race with the exception of Cuvée that remains open for the on-site afterparty.

    • Auckland Thoroughbred Racing encourages responsible drinking and intoxicated persons will not be granted entry to Ellerslie Racecourse
