Group racing takes centre stage with crucial lead-ups to Champions Day's biggest races.
An unmissable afternoon of racing at Ellerslie featuring the Group 1 $1,000,000 Al Basti Equiworld Dubai New Zealand Oaks and Group 1 Ōtaki-Māori WFA Classic, alongside key lead-ups to Champions Day’s features.
Younger family members will be entertained with free entertainment and there’s plenty of outdoor lawn space to spread out and make a day of it.

Free general admission will get you access to mini golf holes, bouncy castle, swingball (lawn tennis) games, a giant throwing / target wall and giant garden games which are free for all to enjoy on the Newmarket Lawn.
(In the event of poor weather, anything 'indoor-friendly' will be moved into the Newmarket Room on the ground floor of the Ellerslie Stand but the other items may have to give it a miss).
