Like to keep an eye on the finer details? Each table also features its own flat-screen TV for close-up race coverage.

On the menu: a seasonal feast designed by Executive Chef Paul Barrett, showcasing the best local produce – some of it grown right here on site.

  • Drink on arrival – your choice of either a flute of Daniel Le Brun New Zealand Méthode Traditionnelle NV or a Stella Artois
  • A buffet-style lunch featuring seafood, gourmet hot dishes and seasonal salads, curated by ATR Executive Chef Paul Barrett using the finest New Zealand ingredients
  • Breads and dips served to your table approx. 30 minutes after doors open
  • An indulgent dessert buffet served following the meal service

    • Auckland Thoroughbred Racing encourages responsible drinking and intoxicated persons will not be granted entry to Ellerslie Racecourse

    • All bars close shortly after the last race with the exception of The Grove (Newmarket Lawn) and the Birdcage Bash afterparty (raceday Birdcage, ground level, Ascot Stand)
    • Entry into The Grove and the Birdcage Bash is free for racegoers after the last race; R18; Dress code applies; Entry subject to space, Intoxicated or disorderly persons not permitted or tolerated. Bar and event close time is at the discretion of management. Drink limits may apply
    • Intoxicated or disorderly persons will not be permitted or tolerated. Entry is subject to capacity.
    • Tickets are non-refundable and prices include GST. A separate booking fee of $2.00 per ticket will also apply upon purchase
