Whether you’re here for the racing, a family day out, to catch the fashion action or to get amongst the Birdcage Bash after the last, general admission gives you access to a great range of spaces to enjoy Champions Day at Ellerslie.
Watch the races from the covered, outdoor seating in the Ellerslie Stand, get close to the thunder of the track opposite the home straight, or set up a picnic on any one of the lawns within our general admission spaces.
The Newmarket Room (ground floor, Ellerslie Stand) will be open to all, serving a variety of tasty food and drinks with easy access to betting facilities.
Your general admission ticket also gives you free access into our Children’s Entertainment Zone and to The Ned Prix de Fashion marquee where you can watch – or enter – the day’s racewear competitions.
You’re welcome to bring your own picnic food, unopened non-alcoholic beverages, and chairs or picnic rugs to use in outdoor areas.

Birdcage Bash afterparty in association with The Grand Tour: All racegoers aged 18+ are welcome to the official on-site afterparty in the Birdcage (ground level Ascot Stand) however entry conditions apply. Learn more under ‘Other Information’.
Fashion competitions are based on the Fashion Lawn within the general admission precinct. Anyone with a general admission ticket can enter or watch these competitions. Competition entry Ts & Cs apply.
TAB Winning Post Bar: If you usually base yourself from the TAB Winning Post on racedays please note that this room is closed for a private Entain function on Champions Day with entry strictly via invitation.
Under 15s enjoy free general admission when accompanied by an adult.
