Like to keep an eye on the finer details? Each table features its own flat-screen TV for close-up race coverage.

On the menu: a seasonal feast designed by Executive Chef Paul Barrett, showcasing the best local produce – some of it grown right here on site.

  • Drink on arrival – your choice of either a flute of Daniel Le Brun New Zealand Méthode Traditionnelle NV or a Stella Artois
  • Breads and dips served to your table
  • A buffet-style lunch featuring seafood, gourmet hot dishes and seasonal salads, curated by ATR Executive Chef Paul Barrett using the finest New Zealand ingredients
  • An indulgent dessert buffet served following the lunch service
  • A flat-screen TV at your table screening the day’s racing
  • Cash bar featuring Champagne, selected standard & premium still & sparkling wines, local & imported beers, spirits & non-alcoholic beverages

  • Seating is at tables of 8. If your group has fewer than 8 people, you may be seated with others and share the breads, dips and petite fours served to the table.

    • On-site parking is free and accessed through Derby Downs Place
    • All bars close shortly after the last race with the exception of The Paddock and Cuvée
    • Racegoers are welcome into The Paddock or Cuvée after the last race although entry conditions apply: R18; intoxicated and / or disorderly persons will not be permitted or tolerated; drink limits may apply; entry is subject to capacity; close time is at the discretion of management. A dress code applies in Cuvée
    • Auckland Thoroughbred Racing encourages responsible drinking and intoxicated persons will not be granted entry to Ellerslie Racecourse

    • Tickets are non-refundable and prices include GST. A separate booking fee of $2.00 per ticket will also apply upon purchase
