An easy end to a long weekend
Take a break from the everyday and spend your afternoon at the track on our ANZAC Raceday.
It’s a great opportunity to watch the horses go around, enjoy some racing and spend your day ahead of a short working week.
General admission is free with the public welcome to head into the TAB Winning Post (ground floor, Ascot Stand) which will have café-style food and beverages for purchase. Entry into this space is free with no ticket required.
The Takanini Room will be open for the use of Club members.
Timings are approximate and subject to change.
If you're bringing the younger family members, we've got their day sorted.
Free general admission gets you access to our bouncy castle and swingball sets which are free to use.
(Entertainment items installed subject to weather conditions).
The tie-up stalls at Ellerslie are open for everyone to enjoy a close-up look at the horses.
For everyone’s safety, please stick to the white-pebbled public accessways when you’re in this area and avoid entering any restricted areas unless you have the required accreditation.

Free overnight event carparking is accessible via 16 Derby Downs Place.
Mobility / accessible parking, drop-offs and foot traffic should enter via 100 Ascot Avenue. All cars entering off this road will need to exit the grounds via Mitchelson Street.
