Congratulations Sasha Boyens - 2024's Supreme Winner.
The Ned Prix de Fashion returned to the Derby Day runway in 2024, boasting of a $20,000+ winner-takes-all prize package courtesy of The Ned and Victoria Racing Club as well as the coveted sash and national racewear title.
Entry into The Ned Prix de Fashion is by pre-qualification with entrants needing to win a qualifying competition in order to secure their spot in the competition.
This season, qualifying events took place throughout the country, culminating in the Godavari Diamonds Fashion Qualifiers here at Ellerslie on Trackside Derby Day which provided four lucky women one last ‘wild card’ chance to secure their spot in the Regional Final of The Ned Prix de Fashion.
Contestants then took to the runway in a bid to catch the eye of the expert panel of judges whose job it was to whittle the pool down to just five Grand Finalists and from there, the Supreme Winner.
Next year we celebrate 20 years of fashion here at Ellerslie and to celebrate we took a look back at all our previous winners of Prix de Fashion. Check out our honour roll below.
This year’s edition saw 13 regional finalists make the field for The Ned Prix de Fashion after having won a qualifying fashions in the field competition (held throughout New Zealand) over the course of the 2023/24 season.
