The Auckland Racing Club is New Zealand's premier racing club and Ellerslie is the showplace of the Thoroughbred Racing Industry. Ellerslie hosts 26 racemeetings per year and the course has a world-renowned reputation for the beauty of its lawns, gardens and trees, as well as its famous steeplechase track.

Please note Ellerslie Racecourse is now a fully licensed venue. "BYO" alcohol is no longer permitted in any areas, including the Infield. Patrons may still bring "BYO" food and unopened, non alcoholic beverages into public areas including the Infield. For more information click here.
